Why we need you
To use your experience and attention to detail to look after the financial systems of the shop.
What will I be doing?
- Reporting financial data accurately and on time.
- Assisting the manager with other optional activities such as stocktaking, ordering new goods and general clerical duties.
What skills do I need?
- Bookkeeping skills or experience of working with financial systems.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Basic numeracy
- Honesty and reliability.
- The ability to work as part of a team.
How much time do I need to commit?
- You will need to complete your book work primarily on Friday afternoons.
- If you choose to do any additional duties, you can agree convenient times for these tasks with your shop manager.
What support will I be given?
- We will provide all the training you need to feel confident in the role.
- The shop manager will be available to advise and assist you as you work in the shop.
- There may also be other experienced volunteers in the team who will be available when you need help or want to ask a question.
