Why we need you
To collect bags of donated clothes, accessories and bric-a-brac from people in your local community who are unable to bring their donations to the shop.
What will I be doing?
- Working with the shop manager to arrange collections from members of the public at mutually convenient times.
- Providing an efficient and courteous service to our donors.
What skills do I need?
- Your own vehicle and a clean driver's licence.
- A polite and efficient manner for communicating with the general public.
- The ability to work as part of a team.
How much time do I need to commit?
- You can agree your hours with your manager who will be as flexible as possible.
- The shop manager will normally pass on the details of people who want to donate stock. You will be able to contact them directly and arrange a time suitable for you both.
What support will I be given?
- We will provide all the training you need to feel confident in the role.
- The shop manager will be available to advise and assist you.
- If required, we will reimburse any agreed travel expenses that you incur as a result of your volunteer role.
