We have around 550 charity shops across the UK and they play a vital role in raising funds and awareness for our cause.

As a shop volunteer you are among the most visible faces of the charity and contribute hugely to how the public perceive us and the work we do.

Choose from these key roles

You could help in one of the following roles in our shops:

  • Deputy Shop Manager - Support the manager in the running of the shop and take responsibility for initiatives to develop and improve performance.
  • Stock Generation Assistant - Help secure stock for the shops.
  • Shop Fundraising Coordinator - Develop more fundraising activity to make the best use of our shop's position on the high street.
  • Book Department Assistant - Help select books for sale and ensure the book department is well presented.
  • Stock Preparation Assistant - Select and prepare the best clothes, shoes and accessories for sale.
  • Driver - Collect items from people who are unable to bring donations to the shop.
  • Shop Assistant - Provide excellent customer service to everyone who visits the shop.
  • Treasurer - Assist the shop manager with looking after the financial systems.
