You’ve requested your fundraising pack and set up your online fundraising page, now you need to let people know about your event.

Contact local media

Send a press release to your local paper, radio or TV station to advertise your event and ask them to include your contact details in case readers and listeners want to donate or take part.

Add our breast cancer banner to your email signature, Facebook page or your own website. Download the image or copy and paste the code into the section of your profile where you want the ribbon to appear.

To add the image to your e-signature in Microsoft Outlook:

1. Download the image, save it to your computer and then copy it
2. Open Microsoft Outlook and go to "Tools", then select "Options" and "Mail Format"
3. Click on "Signatures" and click "New"
4. Paste the image into the box
5. Click on the far right hand button to add a hyperlink to the Join the fight website http://www.jointhefight.org.uk
6. Select your Join the fight signature as your default signature and click OK.
