3. Why is there an entry fee?

The entry fee will be used to cover the administrative and organisational costs of the walk. This includes postage of registration packs, admin staff time, printing and stationary costs. While some costs are unavoidable, we try to keep them to a minimum. Once all costs are covered, all remaining entry fees will go to our life-saving work.

4. Do I have to raise sponsorship as well as pay an entry fee?

We do ask everyone to try to raise as much sponsorship money as possible. Some walks may have a minimum sponsorship amount – please contact your walk organiser for further details on this. Fundraising online is the quickest and easiest way to raise sponsorship money for research into breast cancer. Create your online fundraising page and ask friends, family and colleagues to sponsor you. Every pound you raise will go towards our life-saving work.

5. Where does my sponsorship money go?

The sponsorship money you raise will go towards our vital research into breast cancer. Last year Cancer Research UK spent nearly £45 million on breast cancer research, so every pound you can raise will help us make progress in understanding and treating the disease.
