Volunteer in your local Cancer Research UK shop

We have around 600 charity shops across the UK and they play a vital role in raising funds and awareness for our cause.

As a shop volunteer you are among the most visible faces of the charity and contribute hugely to how the public perceive us and the work we do.

You could help in one of the following roles in our shops:

Book Department Volunteer - Help select books for sale and ensure the book department is well presented.
Deputy Shop Manager - Support the manager in the running of the shop and take responsibility for initiatives to develop and improve performance.
Homeware Volunteer - Sort through household goods and help maintain the display.
New Goods Volunteer - Help with all aspects of ordering, receiving and displaying new products.
Shop Fundraising Coordinator - Develop more fundraising activity to make the best use of our shop's position on the high street.
Stock Generation Assistant - Help secure stock for the shops.
Stock Preparation Volunteer - Select and prepare the best clothes, shoes and accessories for sale.
Volunteer Admin Assistant - Assist with collating and reporting information about the shop's performance.
Volunteer Driver - Collect items from people who are unable to bring donations to the shop.
Volunteer Shop Assistant - Provide excellent customer service to everyone who visits the shop.
Volunteer Treasurer - Assist the shop manager with looking after the financial systems.
