Items you can donate

We accept a wide range of donated items at the Donation Stations which can then be sold in our charity shops. Any good quality unwanted items which you have sitting at home can make a huge difference if donated to Cancer Research UK.

Here are just some of the things you can bring to a Donation Station and help raise bags of money for cancer research.

Clothes

We sell a wide range of secondhand clothing for all ages, shapes and sizes! If you have clothes you no longer wear then bring them to a Donation Station. 

Accessories

Donate your old pearls, purses and pumps. They could be just what people are looking for to brighten up their current wardrobes. 

Household items

We love donations of kitchenware, glassware, crockery, pictures, vases, collectables and soft furnishings. Let these household items be reused and decorate someone else’s home.

Videos, CDs and DVDs

Our charity shops sell secondhand films, music and games, so why not donate your old CDs, DVDs, vinyl and videos.

Books

If you have old books you haven’t read for a while, don't let them gather dust on your bookshelf but donate them to charity. Our charity shops sell a whole range of recycled books e.g. bestsellers, children’s books, age old classics, cook books and travel books.

Toys and games

If you have toys that your children have stopped playing with or board games you no longer use, pass them on for other people to use and enjoy.

Other items

Some of our shops are even able to take items of furniture or small electrical goods (excluding kitchen "white" goods), so be sure to check with your nearest shop to see what they accept.

Unfortunately we cannot take safety items due to the legality of selling them with a guarantee. This includes helmets, cots and baby seats.
