As a shop volunteer you are among the most visible faces of the charity and contribute hugely to how the public perceive us and the work we do.

Choose from eight key roles

You could help in one of the following roles in our shops: 

• Book Department Volunteer
  Help select suitable books for sale and ensure the book department is well presented.
• Homeware Volunteer
  Sort through household goods and help maintain the display.
• New Goods Volunteer
  Help with all aspects of ordering, receiving and displaying new products.
• Stock Preparation Volunteer
  Select and prepare the best clothes, shoes and accessories for sale.
• Volunteer Admin Assistant
  Assist with collating and reporting information about the shop's performance.
• Volunteer Driver
  Collect items from people who are unable to bring donations to the shop.
• Volunteer Shop Assistant
  Provide excellent customer service to everyone who visits the shop.
• Volunteer Treasurer
  Assist the shop manager with looking after the financial systems.
